【Important Notice】For applicants who plan to apply for the 2025 Graduate School’s entrance examinations [to be conducted in 2024]

The application deadline for the 2025 Master’s and Doctoral Programs (Application Schedule A, which is conducted in 2024) will be moved from early July to early June 2024.

The examination will be held in late August 2024 as we do every year.

Admissions information sessions for Graduate School of Department of Applied Chemistry will be held in the middle of April 2024 and around the beginning or middle of May 2024. We will update the information on this website once it has been decided.

Priority Assignment System for Master’s Degree Applicants Who Wish to Enroll a Doctoral Program

For the summer 2024 entrance examinations, each laboratory will have a few priority assignments for master’s degree applicants who wish to proceed to a doctoral program in the future. Applicants wishing to take advantage of this system should contact the faculty member in the laboratory of their choice by May 13,2024. Details will be explained at the entrance examination information sessions on April 20 and May 11 .

Special Selection for International Applicants

For the summer 2024 entrance examination, a special selection system will be implemented for foreign applicants. Applicants wishing to take advantage of this system should contact the faculty member in the laboratory of their choice by May 13, 2024. Details will be explained at the entrance examination information sessions on April 20 and May 11.

3) Oral examinationIn the oral examination, motivation for
studying at the Department of Applied
Chemistry and communication ability are
gauged. In addition, questions on research
for the graduation thesis (or the equivalent)
and general chemistry are asked.

*3   The score must be 61 in iBT or above.
